Privacy is a core part of the product philosophy: your data stays on your device.

1) Overview

Budget Baseline (the “App”) is designed to work entirely offline and respects your privacy by design.

We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data.
All information you enter in the App remains only on your device.

2) Data Collection

The App does not collect personal or sensitive data.

Specifically:

  • No user accounts are created

  • No names, emails, phone numbers, or identifiers are collected

  • No financial data is sent outside the device

  • No analytics, tracking, or profiling is performed

  • No third-party SDKs collect data on our behalf

3) Local Data Storage

Any data you enter into the App (such as budgets, dates, recurring payments, or balance snapshots) is:

  • Stored locally on your device only

  • Saved in a local database (SQLite)

  • Never transmitted to any server or cloud service

You fully control this data.

Uninstalling the App will remove the locally stored app data from your device.
(If you create a manual local backup file outside the app storage, it remains wherever you saved it.)

4) Network Usage

The App:

  • Does not require an internet connection to function

  • Does not communicate with any backend servers

  • Does not send data outside your device

5) Notifications

If enabled by you, the App may send local notifications generated entirely on your device. These notifications:

  • Are based only on locally stored data

  • Do not involve any external services

  • Can be enabled or disabled at any time in the App settings

6) Permissions

The App requests only the minimum permissions required for core functionality. It does not request access to:

  • Contacts

  • Location

  • Camera

  • Microphone

  • Files outside the app sandbox

  • Other apps’ data

7) Third-Party Services

The App does not use third-party services that collect or process user data, including:

  • Analytics platforms

  • Advertising networks

  • Cloud storage providers

8) Data Security

Because all data is stored locally and never transmitted:

  • Your data is not exposed to network-based risks

  • No external parties have access to your information

9) Children’s Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect any personal information from children. Since no data collection occurs, no special handling is required.

10) Changes to This Policy

If the App’s data handling practices change in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly. Any changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above.
